February 16, 2010

Good afternoon fellow owners.  This is our second 2010 email blast.  As always, you can view all email blasts at:

http://tychypoluxo.com/tycforum/index.php?board=35.0

We are having our second meeting of 2010 Thursday, February 18, 2010, at 7:00pm in the clubhouse.  In preparation for said meeting, the Board will also be meeting at 5:00pm on February 18, 2010 to have an organizational meeting.  We will continue to have all meetings on the third Thursday of each month throughout 2010.

Here is the schedule of all 2010 Board Meetings:

All agendas, including February 18, 2010, can be viewed here:

The most recent Maintenance Report can be viewed here:

http://tychypoluxo.com/tycforum/index.php?board=36.0

As many of you know, we terminated Steven Best’s contract on January 15, 2010.  The Board has unanimously agreed to promote our Maintenance Manager Erich Sitko to the position of Property Manager.  This promotion is contingent on Erich gaining the required CAM (Community Association Manager) license.  We are hoping that will be finalized by the middle of March 2010.  This will be discussed in further detail at our meeting on Thursday, February 18, 2010.

One of the most important items on our agenda for Thursday night is the dog issue.  The Board is going to discuss the dog issue in great detail and vote on a strict enforcement policy to remedy all respective issues.  This includes dogs off leashes, dogs that are not picked up after, and designated areas on the property where a dog may be curbed, including an exact definition of curbing (i.e. having a dog on a leash and under complete control).  We welcome all dog owners, owners and tenants, to be a part of this discussion.

Respectfully,

James Capodanno
President, Board of Directors
The Yacht Club on the Intracoastal
